Start the game first then press Play on WeMod after the main menu is loaded. Activate any features you want on the game main menu before loading save/new game.
There’s lot of hidden rules and mechanics to this game so some features might not cover the entire game scenarios.

Can confirm any cheat activation seems to cause the game to crash, have tried starting the game via WeMod or steam and then launching WeMod. Same results.
