A closer look at the Xbox Elite Controller’s button mapping

[/img]Change everything! Learn how to customize your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller with the Xbox Accessories App.

The built-in Profile Switch lets you swap between controller profiles on the fly. The Xbox Accessories App is where where you’ll to customize the button-mapping to your liking and even set them specially for different games. It seems robust enough for hardcore XB1 users who want total control over their um, controllers.

The Xbox Elite Controller hits store shelves on October 27 and comes with a carrying case, a set of 4 paddles, a set of 6 thumbsticks, a set of 2 D-pads: faceted and standard, a USB cable, and a pair of AA batteries.

…I’m impressed and I believe SCUF has to play the next move.

I’m not, all i see is a SCUF and Razer hybrid.

Razer was able to create specified gaming profiles through the actual controller, LAST GEN with the sabretooth lol.
Don’t get me wrong it looks fresh but i can guarantee its not anything special.
i wonder what ridiculous pricetag microsoft is going to slap on it.

Already announced, $150.

Which isn’t too bad considering a SCUF controller can range far beyond that with a lot less features.

Considering MS has full control over the console software and all hardware they should be able to do a lot more than anyone else.
