The best experience is to wait until you load a save game or get into the game where you see your trading post before loading the mods. Otherwise, it may crash and you also have to hit the Refresh options to update pointers before things start working.
If you load when in the save game, it initializes things better and you only have to refresh when you start a new island or do new research, etc.
What options in which combo do you use so you do not run out of resources and materials through the whole game?
As I understood, first you need to load into the savefile and then start Wand, but it seems not to resolve the problem when you conquer a new island, am I right?
FYI: if you adapt the script, so the update of the resources only trigger when you click on the harbour (grabbing the pointer in that moment) the game is fine with that. And im pretty sure, setting the âneedsâ value of the people to true, without having a connection between the harbour and the needs might also be easier to mod.
Hello,
I should start Wand before or after I loaded a save game?
Now I first start Wand, then start Anno 117, and after I load a saved game I hit Alt+Tab, go on Wand and hit Play. But even so, it crashes when I select Instant Max Resource and use Refresh resource info.
The main question was if it matters when I start Wand, I know I have to hit play after loading a saved game.
I was asking if it matters if I start the app before starting the game, or I should start it after I load the saved game.
I will try using the mods with the game paused.
