Any kind of workaround for the McAfee problem yet?

I’ve seen a post or two about the problems with McAfee AV and that seems to be the issue I’m running into as well. Unfortunately i still have like 6 months on my AV so id rather not have to get another one if i can help it atm. Any workaround or solution been found? Even if it hasn’t i have nothing but praise for Wemod

With McAfee, you can’t add folders as exceptions, so you need to go through the tedious process of adding each file from the WeMod folders as exceptions.
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod
and
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Otherwise, the only other advice we can give is to switch antivirus providers (eg. Malwarebytes, Norton, etc.)…

…or turn off McAfee when using WeMod, which we highly advise against as this can leave you vulnerable to malware.
