Well considering AW has been out for awhile, I don’t think they’ll fall for the “my pre-order code didn’t work” trick. It’s best to try those things when a game is new.
There’s been some that actually have got the code. I’ve been on the Bungie forums. Go look there. I think one thread of the method was taken down >.<
Probably ask for a receipt, transaction, maybe your name, address, maybe even your email. They’re foreign half the time so heads up. If I can get the dude’s tips from the thread over at Bungie, I’ll post it here.
Just say you pre ordered it and you never got the code and that you didn’t care till now to call because (you just heard about the new DLC/or you had things going on since).
Some have had luck. Just depends on how good the support person is.
I have it. Didn’t realise I was getting it either. I cancelled my pre order of AW then got the code. I see they are selling on eBay.
If someone could try to get me two, that’d be awesome. If I called, I wouldn’t know what to say so I’m not going to call…

I was reading that cached site version and people that got it to work said they ask for your GS account to verify that you pre-ordered.

I too would love to own the Blacksmith shader, but I don’t have that great of luck when it comes to tricking companies into giving you exclusive gifts; no matter if they are a digital item or not. (ex: I tried getting Activision to send me the Black Ops: 2 Advanced Warfare emblem, but, even though I provided heavy amount of details, I never got a code; they ignored my ticket.)
If someone would kindly enough donate me a code then I’d be the happiest of campers! (Xbox 360 / One code)
