After i played the game with these then left and came back and tried to play it again it just makes my game crash everytime. iā€™m on steam.

The Assassinā€™s Creed Shadows cheats have been updated!

Changes:

  • Bug fixes and game compatibility improvements

Regarding game crash problem caused by Edit Selected Item/Money Amount, this happens when you accidentally edited items that are not supposed to have more than 1, such as equipments.

To fix this issue, you will need to manually delete the affected save files, they are located in

Steam Version:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\{your ubisoft id}\1081

Ubisoft Version:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\{your ubisoft id}\8006

Sort files by modified date to find the latest save file, and delete the affected save files.

The Edit Selected Item/Money Amount mod is also updated, now it should no longer work for equipments.

Anyone else still experiencing the crashing? It happens when the game is checking for memory add-ons.

It also always crashes when it checks the addons
The following could NOT solve the problem
-Clearing the saves completely
-Activate/deactivate online saves
-reinstall the game

I fixed it by booting up AC Shadows offline. Delete the saves than disconnect from your network and boot up the game.

  1. Delete all save files in [C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames{your ubisoft id}\1081] folder
  2. Run Steam, Ubiconnect
  3. Disconnect Internet
  4. Run the game
  5. Play the game until an autosave file is created in the [C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames{your ubisoft id}\1081] folder.
  6. When the auto-save file is created, exit the game and connect to the Internet
  7. When the game is restarted, it will play normally

I got the game running this way
