Seems to still be working fine guys!
wrong, the roll dice always succeed isnāt working properly anymore, itās bugged
Itās working for me. Iām having zero issues with any of the cheats.
As far as I can tell, they all seem to be working properly still. Only one I didnāt test was max companion approval because itās not easy to test quickly.
I concur with everyone that has not had problems since the patch. Everything appears to work fine when I tested it, including the max companion approval. Only two I didnāt check are God Mode and Roll Dice Always Succeded since I do not use either.
Just wanted to say thanks for the kickass work to the devs! This has really been a boon. Iām in my 30s and donāt really have the time to dedicate to games and itās nice to be able to help myself through the grind using this stuff so I donāt have to miss out on a lot.
Major ā ā ā ā ā ā ā issue atm the cheats effect opponents as well as you in terms of the unlimited movement & the always suceed
You need to get the game to a point where you move your character a little. Then, you alt-tab to Wemod and hit Play. Then, use cheats.
While not an ideal workaround, have Withers in your camp. After youāve got your character set how you like, save and exit the game, and re-lauch the game and trainer. Then, just respec whatever characters you use for companions. Personally, I find it useful to have them all maxed out, as the game sometimes forces conversation with an NPC approaching the wrong character. So, suddenly, Gale, Karlach, or Shadowheart are the ones making those decisions instead of my custom dragonborn. Might as well have the whole party at +30 ability mod.
Switch those off before ending your turn, or before combat, in case you get surprised. If you turn them off quickly enough, the damage is minimal, as they might get 1 free action/10 free ft of movement.
I keep Always Succeed on all the time and combat is the only thing not affected by it, even rolls performed technically out of combat are still rolled in the same way and arenāt affected.
Edit: I forgot that pickpocket rolls are also not affected.
I canāt get the Edit Last Selected character: options to work. (Not PRO. It worked for me before patch 2) I load the trainer and swap back to game. Select a different character, then back to my main and enter the appropriate hotkeys. The trainer registers the difference, but after save and reload, there are no stat changes.
Edit All Playable Characters works, but I donāt want to boost everyoneās stats.
Are you doing a manual save and manual load? I tried it using a quicksave and quickload, I recall it working but Iāll check again.
Edit:
Using a quicksave and quickload, editing the last selected characters abilities still works for me. Just to be sure, as I had to double check when I did it, you have to make sure to follow the instructions properly. Namely, you have to make the changes you want, select a different character and then the character you want to modify, save and load. Iāll also test if manual saving and loading works next.
Edit 2:
Tried with manual saving and loading and that also worked fine. I would just verify that youāre making sure to modify the abilities, select a different character first and then the one you actually want to modify before saving and loading.
I tried manual and quicksaves (F5 / F8). I upgraded to Pro to see if that made a difference, but still no change. Mod active, select NPC, enter stats and click Set, switch back to PC, Quick save and reload. No change.
Last thing I can think of, youāre playing a custom origin character?
Yes. But it worked before Patch 2 on another custom origin character.
Did you try doing it in the order I suggested? Modify abilities first, choose different character, choose character you want to modify, save and load
Yeah⦠Itās strange. Iām going to shut down all the apps, start fresh.
Edit - nope, didnāt help. Iāve been quite careful to follow the instructions, even tried some other suggestions like set all options to +1. tried manual and quick saves again. I used to do software QA, Iād like to think Iām not screwing this upā¦
Edit 2 - if I do it in reverse, change stats for a companion (Shadowheart) using the proper steps, it works perfectly. My PC stats wonāt take.
Conclusion - I started a new PC and used the All Playable at the very beginning. That works for me.
When I was having this same fight a few days I rebound the hotkeys and that worked for some reason or another.
I can not get it to work. I have read all the post and tried it many times.
