Having tried, retried selecting characters in multiple different ways, and reinstalled, I’m having the same issue with ELCS. I’ve used it regularly before Patch 7 without a problem.
You are a little wrong. It only works partially, I checked. At the moment I know for sure that it works for some characters, but not for all. It worked for Gale and Lae’zel, but it didn’t work for Tab, Astarion and Shadowheart. I haven’t gotten to the rest, I just tested it. At least for me it works that way. Guys, check it in your walkrought.
ELSC definitely doesn’t work 100%. We need fix please.

IDK if it has been mentioned before, but I found a way to get infinite tadpole upgrades. The mindflayer in the windmill that you can kill or feed, if you kill it, rather than dropping a tadpole that goes straight into your pool, it drops a brain that has a consume action. Using the consume action while infinite item usage is enabled gives you a tadpole point, but doesn’t consume the brain.

Hello, I can confirm that the ELSC does not work for at least Minsc. Primary character’s information/stas can still be manipulated, in fact, when choosing Minsc and attempting the edit, they applied to the Tav/Main Character, not Minsc.
If its relevant, did this in an ‘Honour Mode’ save.
I wasted some time and found that I can edit everyone’s stats but Minsc and Wyll.
EDIT: Also - In case it ammters. Minsc was the very last companion I picked up and I believe I picked up Shadowheart after I had picked up Wyll, I can’t remember the order companions joined but I know I missed Shadowheart at the start because I failed to talk to her on the beach after the nautiloid and went to camp right away, so I picked up other companions first, gale, astarian, etc. In case the order companions were added is part of the issue.
If someone seeing this picked up minc earlier than ‘last’ and has all the companions and their Minsc is editable, its potentially an order thing.
Note as well, both Wyll and Minsc, when I attempt to edit them, modify my main characters stats but editing main characters stats don’t affect Minsc and Wyll.
@FLiNG can you add in something to edit the Skill value such as History or Religon or Arcana or Sleight of Hand ?

@FLiNG I understand there’s the item duping with no item usage but is there any way to add a gold multiplier or a cheat that lets casts land 100% if not thats alright

There are mods that can give infinite gold, via the in-game mods manager. I don’t know if there’s any for the casting issue, apart from modifications to Magic Missile, but it wouldn’t hurt to look.

ELSC broken for me also - no matter what, I cannot get it work with Wyll, despite it working with all other characters in my current game. It used to work with Wyll, but now it has stopped. Have WeMod stopped updating the program for Baldur’s Gate 3 now, then?

God Mode and UMA seem not to work anymore.
Also, roll dice always succeed no longer seems to work as well.

Potentially, but cheats are for single player only so if it doesn’t work they’re not going to ‘fix’ it.
Is it just me, or is Edit Last Selected Character not working?

BG3 cheats just instantly freeze my game even if 0 cheats are enabled. As soon as i hit play wemod says playing i go back in game make it two steps and instant crash. Trainer worked fine for the first 43 hours of game time too.

Is the game launcher closed?
I had an issue with them running while the launcher is open. Press play on steam, opens the launcher, press play on launcher (running in DX not Vulkan mode) , close launcher, then once game loads press play on trainer, and use them.
I was in game for three hours yesterday without a crash.
