not having this issue myself , just see saves bug out if i modify stats for any character that isnt an origin character like minthara or halsin in act 2.
It was working fine for me this morning on my new Honor run. Just going to log in now and see if anything changed in the last five hours while I was having a nap.
Edit: Still working for me. Just ran through the Druid Grove unlocking all the locked stuff I could, and always rolled 20s
did you tweak any settings on the mod? (like game source , steam or gog , or mod settings , ie mod version)? and are you using any mods (the game changing and not the trainer kind XD) theres usually a few factors to look at.
honestly ive only seen an issue with saves getting messed up trying to change stats on non origin characters (minthara and so on) , not sure if thats the specific cause of course just cause at this point larians support for the game is veryā¦..minimal XDā¦.ive seen it affect all the saves in the act 2 map , but not the ones in the mountain pass just before (went underdark and exited from there , back tracked to mountain pass) , and oddly those saves werent affected for some reason. i feel like the games just been generally wonky lately. i dont run any ingame mods of course otherwise id have a better idea XD
I did use vulcanX i believe instead of direct 12, would that make a difference? and no itās just the base game
I donāt think that should make a difference but itās worth trying in either mode just to be sure.
Also close the game launcher after it fully loads up the game (where you pick Vulcan or DX). Early on I did have problems as the trainer (when you pressed play) reading that as the game instead of the actual game.
It seemed to make a difference, I just used direct11 and got 3 nat 20ās in a row with the mod on, so either i got insanely lucky or the mod is working XD
Huh I didnāt think that would be it for sure but it never hurts to tweak some settings anyway since your not using mods. Ppl have a low opinion on the steam forums for mods (doesnāt matter if itās clothing or anything) , thatās their go to āyou broke your game with modsā XD
If only fixing a corrupted honour mode save was so easyā¦ā¦;_;
yeah, i think it had something to do with my wifi during multiplayer cause i was on direct 11 then

Mods arenāt working after update
Still works fine for me. There hasnāt been a game update since November 20 2025.
Iāve been having issues with saves. Every save I try to load results in crashes, even when I explicitly turn off the mod before saving. Iāve tried both manual and quick saving, but both just end with me crashing. Iāve never had this problem before with this game. Anyone else experincing something similar or have a fix?

Hi Patrick. Yes, the wand overlay is disabled. I never play with it on.
Before I fire up Wand, can these be used in an online game? A few friends and I want to use it, but Iām scared of the anti cheat throwing a ban my way.
And If it can be used under some circumstances, please let me know what those are.
