Best Gaming Laptop For $1000

It’s time for me to purchase a new laptop, the one I am using is currently 6 years old. I would love to be able to play most AAA titles on high settings. Also, multitasking is a must.

Things that DON’T matter:
Dimensions
Weight
Battery Life (Somewhat matters)

Things that DO matter:
Screen Size (15"+)
Multitasking
HDD Size (1TB+)
SSD (Optional, but would be nice)

Please try to keep the price at $1000. $100 or $200 more is ok as long as its justifiable.

lol a laptop

It’s all down to preference. Laptops are portable, some people prefer them.

Yes, a laptop. Have a problem?

Thank you. I also have a desktop, but I need something more powerful than my Surface 2.

I’m going to agree with SpanishGamer and say the ASUS ROG GL551 is your best bet. If you add the 128GB SSD it’s still in your price range and even comes with a decent free mouse on Newegg.

No problem, just lol

You’re no help at all so why post?

On Topic: What about something from ASUS ROG? The laptops are pretty decent & fit the price range.

Nice! I forgot all about the Asus ROG, my first suggestion was the Gigabyte P55K but the ROG GL551 has literally the same specs w/ the option to add a 128gb SSD and free mouse/shipping on newegg for $50 cheaper than the P55K.

Step 1: Don’t get a laptop for gaming
Step 2: Get a desktop for much cheaper than can do much more
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit

I have a desktop, i want a laptop that I can do my normal things on + gaming…
All these unnecessary comments.

It’s not unnecessary, its actual feedback.
You want to run most AAA titles on high and thats possible but not practical on laptops. Especially with good framerate.
You’re spending a lot of money for little return. Especially since most gaming laptops aren’t very practical on the portability scale.

He’s just asking, why don’t you build a desktop for gaming then buy an average laptop for everyday use. That would make more sense. You can build a powerhouse for $1,000 on the desktop side. You’re not gonna run GTA V efficiently on any laptop for $1,000. It’ll run but not optimally.

This seems like a good gaming laptop. Overpriced, but thats the case with any high performance laptops.

Are we all forgetting the alienware Graphics Amplifier

so you dont really need an insane laptop if you get this but then again youd have to lug it around all day to lmao!
