It’s disappointing to be sure as it destroyed my spec/style, but I’ve calmed down after the initial shock of it.
I was forced to respec, dropping my Overdrive build for a Peacebreaker/Assymetric Warfare build. It will get me through content but, it’s not how I wanted to play. My class mod doesnt support the build beyond it’s passives either, which rubs salt in the wound. Hopefully I find a suitable class mod soon, or they find a way to bypass the point check.
In the mean time, I guess I’ll make do. Maybe this will provide the motivation to finally give the Lance a try, assuming I can land a mod for that. Class mods are rare enough much less one that hasnt rolled the skills for the wrong tree(s).

That was my build too, i’ve pretty much done what you have done! Still getting through all the content, just not as some OP inhuman death zapper. Games still as fun! Im sure they’ll cook a bypass soon enough

Another trainer that has shady business practice that I would highly recommend avoiding, all I know is that they have made a temporary bypass, and if they could do that in mere hours I’m sure a free one will pop up sooner or later.

With the new update, you can’t no longer edit your skill points, when you try to apply your skill points, it resets them immediately which is annoying and I hope a fix will be applied please. But a the same time, I hope it will not reset them after closing the game and reopen later if a fix will be possible.

I think Borderlands itself patched it so i dont think they cant fix it. I could be wrong but if not i think the option should be removed. I was reading their patch notes:
Rewards & Progression
- Addressed a reported issue where players could lose or be rewarded unintended extra Skill Points in multiplayer.

I honestly am not worried about the skill points not working you can still get up to 50 and honestly that’s good enough cause usually only one skill tree is good out of all three lol
