And now you can play with the trainer in a mode where there is no anti-cheat, or is there still a chance of getting banned?

yes, the official steam update says you can play in offline mode and be free to use trainers or mods.

Cheats returned to functional status but preexisting bugs still remain:
Infinite Health still freezes the game in offline Scenario when nuclear weapons are used.
Infinite Ammo still freezes the game when volley-dropped bombs are used.
Super Damage/ One-Hit Kills still has the random chance of freezing the game upon destroying enemy units.

anybody else getting the mods arent loading error. when i click play it instantly says that the mods didnt load. doesnt matter if i am in the game or not.

You’re going to have to launch via Steam Library before injection, consider setting the game to launch automatically without Easy Anti-Cheat to bypass the EAC pop-up unless dabbling in multiplayer too. Note that Steam shortcut’s also currently bugged, launching offline with EAC which disallows both WeMod and MP.
thank you. that worked. i thought wemod turns it off automatically but i guess not.

Does anyone know if the cheats are now usable in scenario mode when the game is started without EAC?
Yes, but if you’re uncertain or forget whether it’s off, you can always click the Skirmish tab. If it is, the game’ll tell you EAC’s required enabled even just for viewing.
