Building a new computer. What CPU?

I want to use it for streaming videos and rendering and gaming. Haven’t built a computer since 2012 so I am really confused and need to get back into it.

Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz

or

Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5 GHz

6700k is plenty. If you have the money you could always get the 5930k and be set for a few years too.

Please do not get a 5930k. Hexacore processors benefit few people you would gain more by spending that money on a 980ti. Most rendering programs support cuda rendering now.

Edit: I would just like to add this. If you can afford a 5930k get one. It just isn’t a huge performance jump over the i7 6700k.

Edit 2: Just looked the 6700k is only $100 less than the 5930k. Just get the 5930k or go on hardforums and buy one for $450.
