[/img]Destiny’s Iron Banner event has only been live for one day, and players are discovering that -when it comes to gear stats- it’s not working as advertised.
The Iron Banner is a PVP event where your gear and armour stats will carry over to multiplayer and won’t be “balanced” to provide a level playing field, instead, everyone gets to duke it out and see who’s got the best gear.
This isn’t the case though, according to some players. Bungie has heard those comments and is soliciting feedback. “Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?” asked community manager Deej.
“Talk to me, Guardians. I know people quit games when they know they won’t win. I’m more curious about your perceptions for how the power-level advantages work. Help me help you.”
It’s worth noting that you currently do not incur any penalties for leaving a Crucible match in-progress.
This seems just another COD takeoff with different clothing and weapons as far as MP goes. Poorly written story with very limited options. Communication with other players is non existent and you are limited to only 3 characters total in the game. I’ve noticed matchmaking is getting harder for strikes. 10 yrs for this game? I don’r think so. They literally can’t seem to get anything right. I’m still getting legendary gear from Cryto guy for another character. Rewards from strikes with gear a dozen levels below your current level are another example. My prediction is that in the next couple of months the game will die almost completely out, with Borderlands, Farcry 4 and COD taking many many players away.
For the iron banner I dont want them to match players with the same level cause then its just no fun iron banner is based on gear dependent if you want to be that lvl 2 that goes into banner and gets smacked be that guy but don’t complain about it as you know you’re going to get slaughtered.
While disregarding all of the other “points” you made towards the game Destiny, all I’d like to say is that this game isn’t supposed to be for a full 10-years…Bungie has a contract with Activision for 10-years so they could release multiple Destiny games. (ex: Destiny 2, 3, etc.)
