just like the strike playlist, can you replay vault of glass to get legendary gear again for your reward or is it a one time thing?
I’m fairly certain you can get the gear again after the weekly refresh.
Once you beat it in a given week, you cannot obtain loot from any chests you opened or sections/phases you have already completed. If you joined some friends and only did part of the raid with them, the sections you did not play will still allow you to obtain rewards. If you play through the whole raid, opened every chest, you have to wait until it refreshes the following week on Tuesday.
right, but what about the final reward? like how strikes will give you a rare engram as a final reward for finishing it, can you still get the raid armor if you do it again within the same week?
I don’t think so but I’m not 100% sure I’m at the final boss ATM 
on Xbox one lol
The game does not end the way you think.
There is no post-game screen, as you have to return to orbit after it tells you that you got your rewards, or you are just stuck in that final room.
If you play the raid on hard, then you will have to kill the bosses to get your loot, as all chests that you previously opened on the “easy” version will be empty. You should also not attempt to complete the hard mode raid until you have a group of 30s, since you cannot respawn in it (sunsinger would be useful here).
Also, even if there was a post-game screen, it would most likely give you nothing for a second go, just like how other missions do that such as the weekly and nightfall strikes.
Right now I can’t even imagine that, being a Lvl. 30…as of recently I believe the highest person in all of Destiny is a Lvl. 29.

You must have Raid Gear to reach level 30…I only have one friend who is a level 29, and if you have the right friends you can reach level 26+ easy.
Well, I’ll achieve Lvl. 27+ whenever I get the right gear, obviously. Right now, I just completed a Lvl. 24 Strike Mission, just trying to level up my Vanguard rank, and after completing the Strike there was a player rewarded with an exotic rifle, Surors Regime. The reason I’m pissed is because I dropped 112 kills while he dropped 12, yet he was rewarded with the exotic piece where as I got a simple Special Coin and a heavy rare engram. (two items I could have gotten else where)
…I really wish Bungie fixed the reward system when it comes to after completing Strikes/Crucible/etc…not saying we should all get the best gear after completion, but how can one who doesn’t do anything get rewarded with the best stuff? I guess I should just search in Strike missions and not participate for me to get anything out of this world good!
How the hell did this guy get full raid gear (and two raid weapons) if you can’t re-do the raid for the more loot each week
I completed it and only got an exotic rocket launcher and raid sniper rifle
