Cannot install horizon

Hi, for some reason I cannot install Horizon latest version. I am running as administrator and it won’t even let me see the log, it said access denied error message pop up when my notepad open. When I installed, I get setup failed with error 0x80070656 - Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exist and that you can write to it.

I download horizon from the main site.

I can install older version just fine and it will run it in offline mode.

I have window 7, I did unblock from the install file and check run as administrator. I dont have any anti virus install. I tried CCleaner and I have framework 4.5. I also don’t have the old version install as well.

Horizon requires .NET 3.5, but that shouldn’t affect installation. Odd, but have you tried running the installer without Admin? It doesn’t require it.

I did try without admin. When it failed, I started to come here and read other people suggestion. Now I have ran to dead end and don’t know what else to try.
