Cant copy my games to my pc

Hi guys I have been using horizon for a long time, I only use it to backup my games, I updated to latest version and when I want to copy something an error occurs “object reference not set to an instance of an object” but the hard drive works and I run Horizon with admin privileges, any solution? Thanks for your answers.

Did you ever get a solution for this?

@Frank

NOPE. Still waiting.

What kind of storage device are you using, and what size? Are you trying to backup installed games or games on demand packages? Does this error happen when moving content from the drive to your computer, or from your computer to the drive?

Thank you very much for replying

I’m using a 64GB USB storage device, I can transfer arcade games to my PC using horizon no problem at all but when I try and extract other games which I have noticed are games on demand I get the following message “An error has occured while extracting your file! If you see a developer, tell him this: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”

In a nutshell: I can’t backup games on demand packages, this error occurs when trying to backup from USB to computer when trying to extract file through horizon

Thanks again

While I track down the source of the bug, you can manually back up the game if your USB shows up as a drive on your computer. The files are in a hidden “Xbox 360” folder /0000000000000000/{title_id}/00001000

Thanks again for replying, sorry to sound thick but are you saying I can plug my USB into my PC (My USB does show up as a drive) and that the file I want is hidden? How do I stop the file being hidden?

Thanks

Edit: I’ve managed to find hidden folders

Thank you ever so much

Great! Keep your eye in the Horizon Changelog topic for updates on the bug.

I’ll keep waiting then it is a 250gb external hard drive I hope you can find the bug since like stuandfran said it happens only with games on demand.

Do you not have a USB stick that you can use to back up to your PC?
