Alright, I’m running CIV 5 Steam with all DLC and the separate Vox Populi mod, and I’m not getting anything to work either. I even tried launching “vanilla” to no effect.
I believe the current trainer is for “vanilla” only. I have worked on mods for Vox Populi before, but did not translate those to this Wand trainer. I seem to have made many people upset when I changed the trainer also. If I can find some spare time, I may devote some of it to improve this trainer, but it was working for me when I tried it and the game is no longer receiving updates as far as I know.
It’s hard to please everyone. You always have the option to go back to the previous trainer as has been mentioned many times in this post.
It’s impossible to please everyone; the best you can do is keep your head down and your gaze focused on making the best product you can (see Sean Murray and No Man’s Sky for an example). With that said, I understand what you intended to say with the popup “does not work with Scenarios” = “this mod alters memory addresses used within the base game only”, but was this tested with a Steam version that has all the DLC (the “bundle” version)? There may have been some inadvertent shifting around on the backend as a result.
On another note, did you package the VP mods into an independent trainer somewhere? Thanks. ![]()
EDIT: Running the Civ V “bundle” version with VP 4.22 (the latest stable version), I found the Gold value as (xxx)00 at address FDA19F08 (probably floating). Is that what you found?
I’m on the latest version on steam and this trainer does not work. Do you need to activate the trainer at certain times to get the cheats to work?
Are you sure you are not using other mods? It does not work for scenarios, but should work in regular sandbox mode. You can see if the previous trainer works for you if you wish.
I just use the old cheats. the ones that work do me just fine.
As far as i know, it all works, using brave new world and all dlc’s etc.
Using windows 11, Direct 10/11. Non modded, skirmish basically, and modded skirmish.
All options work as intended. No issues at all.
I am only missing max XP unit, or XP multiplier unit.
I have a few questions:
- What do these options means “Minimim x per turn?” Do u get that as a minimum, or does it reset what u got to that minimum? Or is the minimum x amount, what resets x to that?
- How do I speed up research to 1, but buildings cities are building, and things they are building on the map not to max, but atleast like half faster?
Gonna experiment with 5 for faith and production, see how that goes. 100 is too fast for these. I will reply back later, with what I find with testing.
But yeah this trainer, just need xp multiplier or max level unit, for player only ofcourse lmao. Althought I prefer the xp multiplier, like your other multipliers.
Mine used to work in March and now im playing again here in May. And all of a sudden, the wemods dont work for civ 5 anymore. the previous mod versions do, but not the newest wemod version for Civ 5. I think the Wemod broke somewhere, ive tried all the stuff on my end and it does not work at all anymore. Perhaps civ 5 on wemod needs update again?
Currently can’t get any of the mods to actually do anything in-game. It’s not telling me Wand is not working or auto turning any of the options off, just has no effect in-game.
Are you waiting to hit Play until the game has started?
I am having the same issue. It is stating a firewall error. I have allowed all that I can and it will not fire up.
Hello! ![]()
Please make sure you are following the instructions given in the trainer and the first post of this thread:
In other words, do not press Play in Wand until the main menu of the game is fully loaded. ![]()
I have done that. The old releases work. The newest one is where I am getting the firewall errors.
