I am not sure why it is doing this. I have reinstalled windows 10 and it started doing this. Pretty sure it is something updating. I have run full version of MacAfee anti virus and freeware Malwarebytes. Nothing is showing up to be maleware or a virus. CMD will open and close almost instantly about twice an hour. When I play a game in fullscreen the CMD will make the game minimize to desktop. I am not seeing anything in task manager out of the ordinary.
Any help will be appreciated.
Take a screenshot of the flashing command prompt and tell us what it says.
Problem is it opens and closes soo quickly. I mean like 1/2 a second. Right now I have a CMD window open and see if it will catch whatever is doing this.
Try recording it then. I googled your issue and a few other windows users have reported this issue and fixed it by deleting the file mentioned in the prompt.
Ahh it just happened and the open CMD didn’t catch it.
Any suggestions about which recording program I should use?
Try SnagIt. Not free but you can “evaluate” it for maybe 14 days to a month.

I have googled this and so far no luck in finding exactly what the problem is.
That’s strange… Only explanation I can come up with is that you got a virus (or possibly a “prank” cmd virus). Is there some type of scheduled program launch feature in Windows 10?
If I had windows 10 I would try to recreate this with some batch coding and see if I could trace the file.
