(Sorry if this doesn’t belong here, didn’t know where else to post it…)
Anyways, I’m having trouble hotswapping my modded WaW iso disc. I downloaded a good clean iso, checked it with abgx360 (Everything green, 100%), replaced the modded common.ff, nazi_zombie_prototype.ff, code_post_gfx.ff, and clean default xex, and burned with ImgBurn at 2.0 speed. (Had problem with 2.4 before).
Xbox is already disassembled previously, place regular WaW in disc tray, run game, dashboard, Click install game, switch modded disc in as fast as humanly possible. The farthest I’ve gotten it is to 1%, which the “Cannot read disc it may be dirty or scratched” message comes up. I’ve tried EVERYTHING people have suggested. I will list what I remember I have already tried below.
-Unplugged Ethernet cord and cleared cache of updates.
-Swapped disc in at 1%
-Swapped disc in at 0%
-Swapped disc before pressing install
-Swapped disc literally AS I PRESS Install.
It never fails, I get the “Disc cannot be read, it may be dirty or damaged” message.
Lite-On drive, Memorex DVD+R DL 8.5gig discs. Neither my original WaW nor the modded disc have a single scratch on them.
I’ve tried everything and am beggining to get extremely frustrated with this and thinking about giving up altogether.
Any Tips? Suggestions? I’ve looked at every video on Youtube, and every tut on Se7enSins, Game-Tuts, XboxMB, and TTG.
Thanks in advance.

Use Verbatim discs, I was using some cheaper ones before and it wouldn’t work for me.
Some newer DVD drives are more difficult to hot swap on.
You might have a bad DVD rip.
Try letting the game install a bit more, to 5%
Or if that fails, flashing your DVD drive will sort your problem
So you are saying your WaW (unmodded) disc is damaged? Try hotsawping a game you don’t use EX: put in “any game here” into the dvd drive, press install and faster then fast swap the WaW modded disc in. It will install the game and once you play the “any game here” it will run from the HDD and should run your WaW modded.
Flashing my DVD drive? Possible tutorial link? Thanks for the help.
I would recommend using Verbatim disks. I’ve had a similar problem and that helped.
I’ll go buy some of those and see if that works, thanks,
This is untested but worth a shot:

It could possibly be your ImgBurn settings. Gilbertskate14 had the same problem and it was because of his ImgBurn settings, so I would talk to him and ask what settings he uses.
