Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour Cheats and Trainer for Steam

Not working update please

Not sure how it’s going for other players, but for me, I’m already in the game, already playing it, and then I try to activate Wemod, and it still says it’s having trouble finding the game, even though it’s actively running.

Hi there! May I know if you are using other modding tool alongside wemod app?

start we mod app on the main menu not during game then it will run fine

Yes, I am using the Command and Conquer Generals “GenLauncher” tool.

The thing is, for months WeMod worked with GenLauncher, provided I set a custom exe path. But for some reason, one day it just stopped working despite previously working for months.

I would take a guess it stopped working when all C&C games (from the ultimate collection) received a major update which changed some things with the games (for the ones that can still be played, C&C 4 Tiberian Twilight can’t be played anymore since the servers got shutdown permanently, so it makes no sense for them to update it).

Generals and Zero Hour run fine even without this “GenLauncher” tool which I’ve never heard of before until now. It is probably an unofficial mod that isn’t required to play the games.

Major Update:

I see. WeMod does not support third-party mods, and we cannot guarantee compatibility when using them in conjunction with WeMod. For the best experience, we recommend using WeMod exclusively.

Is there a way you can add another source for this, I do not have it thru steam, and the cheats dont work

After EA’s crappy update it stopped the Shockwave Mod from working. I tried doing a fresh install and I was finally able to get the Shockwave Mod to work again. The trainer however is not working (both base Zero Hour and Shockwave Mod) but that could be due to other mods (e.g. GenTools, Bibber’s Launcher, etc.) that might be causing the issue in the background. Aside from installing Zero Hour and Shockwave Mod is there anything else I should install for the trainer to work? Zero Hour is v1.04 and v1.201 for the Shockwave Mod. I think if I can get the game set back up the way it was prior the last update it should work. It worked flawlessly prior to the update.

I have some great news. I found a way to get the trainer to work. I was using the Origin/EA version of the game and ran across a comment somewhere that mentioned they were not having issues with the Steam version. I hate to spend another $20 on this game after I’ve bought it multiple times in the past. I rolled the dice and bought another copy from Steam. I installed the game, installed Shockwave Mod, and copied over the Chaos Mod files and it is working like a champ. So glad I found a way to play this again with the trainer.

the “d3d8.dll” under “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Command & Conquer Generals - Zero Hour”

Investigated this just today and this got rid of gen tool so the mods DO work

Just tried out unlimited resources!

* NOte please make a back up of the dll file before you do this - maybe copy to another save folder just in case.

Gentool/patcher seems to be the thing in the way of making the mods work.

I was able to get all the mods to work. Here is how I have it.

  1. Using Steam game
  2. Make sure you don’t have GenTool or GenLauncher installed (ik it sucks)
  3. (optional) if you want to still zoom out use “Removed by staff“
  4. Have fun with your mods

once i use the mod

AI “enemy“ also have same feature i use

and some feature not working properly

mod need maintenance

That is true I have the same question why the enemy can use the same feature whenever I activate the trainer @MrAntiFun can you do something about this
