Connect ps/2 keyboard to usb port?

I dumpster-dived a nice non-mechanical wireless ps/2 keyboard and I would like to connect it a usb port. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

Passive adapters requires the keyboard to have built-in support for USB. I will need to do some more research before I decide to buy one of those. But wouldn’t the shipping alone make that adapter expensive?

If you checked the Ebay page you can see it cost C $0.99 and free shipping.
Aka, you pay 1 Canadian dollar = 6.2791236 Swedish kronor

Worth the try since there are no shipping and cost less than what you have in your pockets right now :wink:

@sNaKe Those adapters are very common. If you ask around I’m sure someone you know might have one laying around. I have a good 3 dozen of them lol.

I don’t “know” much people, and the ones I do usually know jack-■■■■ about stuff like this. Thanks for the advice though, I will keep that in mind incase I would have a social interaction with another living human.

I will go to a drift store tomorrow and see if they have one and if they don’t I will probably buy the one @MrPrecise linked or talk to kjell&co (a swedish store)

I purchased one of these from ebay. It will take some time before it gets here, maybe 14-30 days. I will update this thread when it gets here.

That looks like it’s male-to-male. I guess I can’t see exactly what you are trying to plug into where but from my assumption, that won’t work.

It was hard to tell if the ps/2’s were female or male from the picture I posted previously but they are actually female. Here is another picture along with a link to the store page
