that was happening to me as well almost a week ago! and i had stopped playing it and went to other games for a bit, launched the game and its happening still!
Where did you purchase your game from?
i got the game on steam, i have already tried verifying the game files and reloading like what was said earlier but it was still happening after i tried that

Try to reinstall the trainer by clicking the DOWNLOAD TRAINER at the top of the forum discussion and check if it works.
i have verified the game files, downloaded the trainer at the top of the forum and it still gives me the popup that says the mods may not work with the game version and they need to be tested first

Thanks for this. Iâm only using four cheats and Iâll give a rundown. Unlimited Ammo and Weapon durability both work fine. I intended to only use Unlimited Health but found I was dying to skull rated enemies so I enabled God Mode and stopped dying. Unfortunately God Mode doesnât let you encounter resistance when you get hit so that messes with âperfectly timedâ dodging. Itâs a compromise but thatâs OK, thanks again.
Just avoid the skull enemies for now! The skull only means they are a couple of levels ahead of you. So, just keep playing and you will eventually reach their level. You can still kill them, but it takes a lot. Its not worth it.

Apologies for the inconvenience. Are you trying to use the trainer in multiplayer mode? Also, can you please verify the game integrity files on Steam?
If it persists, try adding an exception to your antivirus. Add any exception for these two folders in your antivirus:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Any idea why the weapon reload is glitchy? Most weapons I activate will reload every time I hit the X button. It also changes the ammo count. It happens with or without weapon mods fabricated. Pistols, Shotguns, and the BIG SHOT pistol all do it. Thank you for your hard work. It doesnât make the game any less fun.
Started using wemod to play Dead island 2 and i have a question. Does using wemod inject anything into my game files that would prevent online coop? I am not trying to use the mod while playing coop but i noticed that since i used this i cannot connect and play online with my friend or anyone in coop mode. My friend can see me online in the game and it says Iâm joinable but neither of us can connect to each other, and he can connect to other people no problem.
I checked the integrity of my game files, checked my firewall settings, checked my in game settings, checked internet connectivity while playing. Game on launch confirms i am connected to online services. All the following checks out and i am out of options trying to figure out why i canât connect with others online.
Any help is appreciated.

@Jnaz74 - Could you let us know exactly how the reload is glitchy, please? The word âglitchyâ doesnât really tell us much. Does the reload button need to be pressed multiple times? Does the animation look weird? Does the gun fire on its own after reloading? And so on. Thank you.

Sorry i made that other post before i knew there was a group for this game, still trying to navigate using the forums on here. Any assistance toward my problem woukd be appreciated.
The reload on some of the weapons like the shotgun will keep reloading, this happens every time you hit the X button to perform an action like looting a bag.
a question can you also add mods for xbox? because unfortunately I only have it via xbox and it would be nice to play it via the xbox app
