I’ve noticed a bug that prevents you from accessing the in-game cheat menu sometimes. The workaround I’ve found is to cycle the game to or from full screen mode, activate your cheats, and then cycle it back.

I’m on windows 11 and the game is running in 64bit but i still get told its not. iv done everything i even read a post on here that was having a similar issue. i did all those steps and still no luck. also the app is not auto finding my game as well witch is odd to me. there is only one .exe in the game directory so that’s the one i get it to manually reference. if i hit play on the app it gives me the error and the game will still launch with no trainer. the same thing happens if i lunch it on steam first. anyone have any ideas?

Just to double-check, are you using the Steam-bought Definitive Edition of Dead Island?
As opposed to being the standard edition, purchased from any other store and/or cracked/pirated?

Could you please be specific about which steps you tried exactly? They should have been these ones: "These cheats were made for the 64-bit version of the game, you are running the 32-bit version" - and vice versa - #2 by Ravenfyre.

If you can confirm the two things above:

  1. Launch the trainer with the game again until it fails.
  2. Open Wand, click your username in the top-right, then go to Settings.
  3. Under the Save Log header, download the log and share it with us. It will provide more information.

i ended up redownloading the game today before i did anything else and its working now. it also auto found the game as well so my guess is it was just a muck up in my computer somewhere. thanks for responding and ill update if i run into any issues.:saluting_face:
