Cheats working fine except for teleportation.
If your game is crashing via Epic, create a shortcut directly from the installation file because Epic’s Launcher is buggy and is 9 times out of 10 the reason for your game crashing.

Hey! WeMod adds new trainers based on their popularity among users. If you want a trainer for a specific game, go to the game’s page on WeMod and click Notify Me on the Trainer. Once enough users show interest, the game will be added to the queue, which could lead to the development of a trainer for the game.

It seems to stop the main story quests from being given out.

Welcome to the community. 
This being one of my all-time favourite games - I have played this game multiple times, both with and without the trainer. I have never experienced a problem with quests being handed out.
That being said, people do tend to get confused when unlocking the second location about where to find new orders that they need to complete in order to progress the storyline. You can find your current objective in the Bridge Strands section of the main menu.
Sometimes they can only be accepted from a specific location, for example, the Capital Knot City Distribution Center.
If you know the name of the previous mission you did, you can Google walkthroughs to see how to do or find the next one.

may have been game enforced but mules still noticed me with undetected on
was the first time they show up.
turns out having no cargo damage may even heal ruined cargo but also bug you with a lot of notifications if you smash it into a MULE’s head
should be noted it does not seem to help with ruined cargo for making a delivery. does for salvage
