Yet another WeMod user who wants the History tab back! Yes, I’m talking about myself. +1
Fallout 4 needs the history options for mods!! #returnthehistory
Is there a reason you need to select an older version of fallout 4?
Can you please provide some examples of those games? Mods generally aren’t removed for no reason.
The game Torment: Tides of Numenera. Currently, the 2017 trainer is installed by default, which does not work. Yesterday I could have put up the 2024 trainer myself, but now I don’t have such a function.
Dear Chris,
Yes, I need the history for the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, since the old mod has unlimited HP for Bliztball game since the newest one doesn’t have. I hope you can consider bringing back the feature
Me and the other brothers are looking forward to it.
in 5-10 minutes please restart WeMod and check again.
Thank you Chis, you’re my hero
yeah I have to use the older version of Fallout 4 to use mods from nexus since the mod loader for fallout 4 hasn’t updated to the new-gen version.
Thank you, you helped a lot! But what about other games? I only had Torment in the example, as I’m going through it right now. Are there any plans to return the “history” or what to do in situations like this?
Update:
We clearly underestimated how important this feature is and are working to add it back as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
At this time there are no plans to do so. We did a lot of research before making the decision to remove it and found that a very small percentage of users ever used it. We would prefer to improve our version detection system to ensure the correct trainer is being selected.
All feedback is valuable though and we aren’t against adding it back if necessary.
It is very sad that the “History” tab was removed. Some games have become impossible to play without it, for example, now I play Disco Elysium, but now it is not possible to play without the old version of the mod, since it was the old version of the mod that supported the version of the game that I had…

I use history tab and select which game exe I want to load (under PLAY tab) frequently because some times when the game or trainer updated it doesn’t work.
Like Gedonia from v1.48b to v1.49a. After the game updated, whenever I launch the game using wemod, it crash that I need to push the restart button on my pc. So I download the older version (v1.48b) of the game and installed it to different drive, select it under the PLAY tab and it play it.
Like this afternoon after wemod updated, whenever I run Gedonia from wemod, I can’t move my character, using skill/object, left/right click doesn’t work, none. But I still can pause (Esc), using quicksave (F5) or Alt + Tab. While the day before the update all works normal.
It is a very fun feature. I hope your team can bring it back. As some new mods are not have enough function like the old versions.
Chris
What is the current version of WeMod? Mine says it’s up to date at v8.20.0 and yet my history tab is still there. Even after restarting both the app and computer about four times in the last two days.
Are you on windows 7, 8, or 8.1?
Windows 10 Home Premium
Then it should have upgraded to version 9.0. You can either run the installer again or wait for the next update which should be today.
Good news though, the ability to switch trainer versions will be added back. We hope to have that out by the end of the day.
Well I guess its time to uninstall WeMod and go back to using Cheat Engine. That is until they restore the history.
Thanks. I don’t know why it was still on 8.20.0 when it should of auto updated days ago. I grabbed the new installer exe and now it’s at 9.0.1
