If it freezes while no cheats are injected, then this indicates the issue is not with WeMod. Launching the game through WeMod’s play button is no different to you manually launching the game through the shortcut on the desktop, for example. WeMod only interacts with the game when cheats are activated.
Check your machine meets the specs to run the game smoothly.
Make sure your drivers, especially the GPU, are up to date.
Verify the integrity of the game files via Steam in case something is missing or corrupt.
@sm4tty - A trainer will be made for the Windows Store version if it gets enough votes from the community to be made via the WeMod desktop app when it is released.
Bear in mind, Windows Store (Xbox Game Pass) is extremely unpopular with the gaming community. So, in all honesty, don’t expect voting for a Windows Store trainer to be quick. You’re better off getting the game on Steam.
Everyone as a reminder if you are having issues with cheats not working to put it down in the response so they can at least look at it. also as a note. just because a game has been updated immediately after a trainer update or release. doesn’t always mean that the cheats won’t work. test it out beforehand.
Now as for the recent for the update that has happened after the trainer was updated, all current cheats are still working at this time. (at least for me)
hi I am running into this issue while click on play on the trainer
and yea no firewalls or antivirus enabled and tried restarting . can someone help me please it was working till yesterday Oct 26…and this is only happening for Doom Eternal all other games work fine
Yes, I am unable to get it to work either. Says that it cannot dowload the cheats. Does anyone have any idea why? Already whitelisted on firewall and antivirus. Thanks!
Perhaps we should not whitelist the threat yet as this particular event happens only with the files the trainer is attempting to download. If you look up for Trojan:Win32/CryptInject!ml you will find out it may be quite a serious threat. So yeah, the trainer seems unusable for now.
Hi I dont know how Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.DA!ml and Trojan:Win32/CryptInject!ml is a false positive cos thats whats its attempting to download and as u can see its not just for me but many others in here too
A false positive is when a file is flagged that really doesn’t contain a virus. Windows defender is likely flagging it because of the way we protect our code which makes it impossible for Windows defender to actually scan the code. Windows defender is known for flagging files that are clean but not file ones that actually contain viruses. I’ve uploaded the file to virus total and as you can see no AV finds any threat
