Thank you DrummerIX, I know your talent, and WeMod is one of the best platforms out there. I hope you have a home here. What a great asset with you on their team. Thank you and WeMod for all the hard work you do.
Same. Experienced it in a boss fight, so it’s not like I could even run. Oddly, I also have some odd bug where I can’t use items from the bag, like seeds or scrolls, also in DQ1.
I have played for about 5 hours testing in DQ1 and haven’t had any issues. I use Ally Cannot Die instead of Unlimited HP though, but that should still give the effect of enemies not dying if it were to happen. I may have the compare wrong for enemy vs ally. Any particular enemy this occurred on?
What I notice about this game, the HP cheat stops the bleed but doesn’t replenish the HP during the fight, You can turn on the cheat and replenish your HP, using items, spells, then shut off the cheat and continue.
I made a change to better determine enemy and ally, so hopefully this fixes the issues you all had with enemies having Unlimited HP also. I also fixed Ally Cannot Die as it wasn’t working for me later in the game, but it now seems to work good for me. Please let me know if you have any more issues. Thank you!
nice job, is it possible to add an option to speed up the frame rate of the game ? (to speed the the game) it would be a qol when you have to grind xp and gold to have the game go x2 or even x3 xD
thx anyway, you always do a nice job and quickly !
Thank you so much for your efforts! I, too, would need support for the MS Store/Xbox version (and have already requested as much via the formal channel). However, I was curious: Is it possible to manually add the .exe of the MS Store version of the game for it to work with this trainer, or is some checksum or other validation performed that would prevent that? (Or is a much lower level question of compatibility?)
Found one more issue with Ally Cannot Die that I hopefully fixed this time. I think you can assign the Xbox executable for now if you install it somewhere other than the default and drag the executable instead of selecting it. If the game is on Gamepass, I probably can port things over.
That’s part of the bag issue I mentioned. Certain items in the bags just won’t work, at least in DQ1. The map works, but the thief’s key doesn’t. I also can’t use any item, like a seed, from the bag. It also seems to duplicate equippable items. For example, I’ll equip, but it leaves a copy in the bag. I can discard from the bag if there’s a item number (x1) associated with it, but the others don’t have that. It also seems to bug the way transactions in the store work for buying and equipping items immediately.
Edit: That all said, I haven’t tried playing since the fixes were added. On my first play of DQ1, I played all the way through (watching the cutscenes and everything) Craggy Cave, then wandered down and ran into the Aberrant Knight… who had the invincible HP bug. So, I had to Alt-F4 the game (no fleeing from that battle), and lost the entire bit of gameplay. I thought I could hit the autosaves, but I might have borked them when I started the game back up again.
