Launch the game on Steam / Xbox platform before clicking Play on WeMod to load the mods.
Please keep multipliers at their default of 1 instead of setting them to 0 if you don’t want to mod those options.

So the trainer is giving me some issues the game crashes when i equip items after buying them from merchants and being asked if I want to equip this and after getting the thiefs key from a quest it would unlock doors i just got blocked by the door with an interact option that didnt open the door.
You didn’t happen to use an older version of the trainer? This issue occurred in the original versions of the trainer with Unlimited Items turned on I believe. It should not be happening in the latest versions of the trainer as far as I know as I took steps to fix it.
It’s possible I did notice wand made me use an older version of your cheats. I sadly can’t test it if the new one wont because I thought the save was bugged so I deleted it. The equip bug is still a thing last time i tried it. Just tested after posting the equip bug is still there on your latest version. I think you may just wanna nix the unlimited items cheat if its a troublesome cheat to make.
I released an update to try to fix things. I don’t get any crashes in latest version when trying to equip things bought from shop.
Any word on the thief key bug?
I have never encountered the issue, so not sure of the cause, but I think my changes to Unlimited Items should hopefully make things better.
You will have to let me know if you still have the issue and what options you are using if you do see it again.
I also just released an update to make Tombola Tickets Unlimited if you use Unlimited Item Usage.
Ok So I just booted up the game went started my new dq 1 save after lauching everything from the trainer. No cheats worked at all so then I started up the game from steam and tried the equip at the merchant I bought a club from and the game immediately crashed again.
You have to always start up the game first and let it initialize before using my trainers.
I just tested both versions (Steam and Xbox) and cannot reproduce the crash. What options are you using?
Infinite health infinite mp increased gold drop increased xp.
Are you sure you are not using other mods? Have you tried verifying files? I cannot reproduce the crash.
yeah Im not using anyhting else and yes I verified the files.
Ok so I found a weird work around for the key problem just didn’t turn on the trainer and after I found the key i could use it fine. Oddly enough and I’m not sure this was the trainer but I had duplicated items that wouldn’t go away even if used or sold. As to why this doesn’t happen for you I’m at a loss. I’ve never heard of an issue like this before. Wish I could tell you something more helpful has anyone else talked to you about the keys not working?
A couple have posted in the Steam topic about having issue with the keys not working and that is when I made changes to the Unlimited Items thinking that might of been the culprit. It has never happened to me in the game though and I use the trainer.
I think they said they had to start a new save from the beginning to fix things. Did you do this or keep playing.
It is very weird that you keep crashing on equipping something from a shop, but I can never get things to crash on my end.
I figured if it was a common problem, more people would be complaining. Still I’m unsure what exactly is causing it unfortunately.
Are all your multipliers in the trainer set to 1 if you’re not using them?
I set my multipliers for gold and XP to 1000, and upon a fresh save, I discovered that I could avoid the key bug if I played the game without the trainer running, collected the key, used it at least once, then turned the trainer back on, and the key would function as normal. I was able to get all the way to the end of the game doing this. Though even with the trainer off I had duplicates of items like Erdricks sword.
Can you post a screenshot of your trainer options and multipliers? Item Gain Multiplier will cause you to have duplicate items, but I played the game with it set to 2 and never had any issues.
Another odd thing I just found out the equip bug doesn’t happen top me in dq 2 only dq 1. If need more screenshoots let me know.
