Error when attempting to copy my DLC from one USB stick to another

Hi wemod gurus,

I was attempting to copy one of my DLC files from on USB stick to another and received a popup error:

I had a DLC file selected on one USB device, right clicked it and chose my second USB device. I tried to post a screenshot of this but apparently new users are limited to just one image upload?

Here’s the error from the debug window:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Ah I forgot to post at the end, can you help? Thanks.

Hey!

First thing you want to try is making sure .NET Framework 3.5 is installed and active under the Windows Features section of the control panel:

Make sure .NET Framework 3.5 is filled in. If it is not, then you will need to install .NET 3.5 from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=21.

Let me know how it goes :slightly_smiling_face:

Howdy @User_N4m3 - I just checked and I do indeed have .NET Framework 3.5 installed, the box is filled in on the page there.

Appreciate any additional ideas for troubleshooting this issue.

Ok, usually the issue you are having is related to an issue with .NET so just to be sure, Microsoft is kind enough to provide a repair tool for .NET: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135.

Not sure if it will make any difference at all, but it’s definitely worth a shot.
