Failed to download

Hi guys,

When I execute the setup I get the error message “Failed to download :(”. I deactivated the virus scanner and Windows Defender. How can I fix this problem?

Hello @xSLiiCE and welcome to the community. :slight_smile:

If you have Comcast/Xfinity, you’ll also need to disable its advanced security feature, because it has a habit of blocking legit and safe downloads.

With your antivirus disabled for now, download WeMod directly from this link instead of the one on the WeMod website: https://api.wemod.com/client/download.
When the installation is complete add WeMod as an exception in your antivirus before you launch it.
