'Far Cry 5 requires special file patching to use cheats, but we were unable to patch your game'

Hi All

I know this issue has been touched on in other threads, but I can’t seem to find a solution.

Infinity’s Far Cry 5 was working Perfectly for me until a couple days ago, when all of a sudden I started getting this error

I hadn’t made any changes, updates or anything to the game, to Infinity or to Windows 10.

It’s really frustrating as I’d been finding Infinity SO useful, plus I was at a point in the game where without the occasional use of some of the cheats, I can’t progress any further.

I’ve tried everything, numerous reinstalls, and nothing works.

If anyone has any solution I’d be really grateful.

Edit: Is this problem only presenting itself with the Uplay version??
