The power armor parts got stuck after I exited my power armor. With other words, the frame disappeared and the parts got equipped like regular body armor. I dropped the part and added them to another frame and then everything seemed fine. Later I discovered a few bugs when I exited the power armor. The pip-boy wasn’t working, I had infinite stamina, vats showed a nice 0% hit chance on anything, i couldn’t sit in the surgery chair (although normal chairs worked fine). These bugs only take affect when I’m not in a power armor. I play with power armor most of the time so it wasn’t much of an issues but now I would like to “change my appearance”. Reloading an old save is not an option. Any potential fix for this?
Same issues here, had them on most playthroughs. Tried a ton of things to no avail so here’s hoping you find a fix as it’s pretty annoying and some quests can’t be done because of it.
Also, have you been using the Infinity tool by any chance? I use it for unlimited items for building and for ammo but was just wondering if maybe using that was an issue as my clean playthroughs have been fine so far.
I guess game-breaking bugs is the price we have to pay for a game with so many options…
And I’m playing on ps4, so it’s vanilla until they add mod-support.
Considering the price we pay from our own pocket, we shouldn’t. Bugs are part of the process with every game but id expect them to be fixed by now.
I’m on PC and have tried console commands to remove the frame and add back the pip boy but it’s still not working. Apparently it just glitches, and because the game thinks you’re still in power armour, when you switch to you pop boy it won’t show for that reason. So unless you have a ton of power cores so you can use your armour for fast travel you’ll have to haul ass all over the map which is a royal pain in the ass.
