Game Save Profile Unknown?

I just got on Horizon a little while ago, and the first thing I am noticing that my game saves profile are showing up as unknown, unlike before my Gamer picture would show. I have downloaded a fresh copy, disabled anti-virus, but still same results. Not sure if games will play differently

You need to load that profile back into Horizon. The latest update caused everybody to lose their cached profile data.

EDIT: Problem resolved by Cheater! Thanks Cheater! Didn’t know that that happened in the new updated, my bad. :anguished:

You do know that that is a Minecraft gamesave right?
It won’t show up with a profile unless you have done the tutorial on how to transfer worlds or if it is your own world.

Are you trying to transfer a world from an Xbox to yours?
If so, you’re doing it wrong.

That is actually my minecraft save, but i reloaded my profile like suggested, and now everything is back to normal

Not to sound totally dumb/noob… But how do you do that exectly? I am experiencing the same thing. All of my save games are showing up as “Unknown” profile. I’ve tried looking up my gamer card within horizon, but there is no way to save it. I’ve tried manage profile, but there is nothing under there and no way to add anything there. Need help PLEASE…

Don’t worry about the unknown profile. It just shows which profile the package is signed to if Horizon has seen the profile before.

It’s quite easy, what game are you trying to do it with?
I’ll tell you for Minecraft if that’s what you want to know, if not, please tell me.

So you have your Save on your Desktop:

Once you have that, click on “Games” then hit “Inject New File”:

Once you have hit “Inject New File”, select your save, then select the profile you want to use it on:

Then hit “Use This Profile” and transfer your USB back to your Xbox and play with that save!

Game is Fallout3. I already have it on my USB drive; however, ever since the recent update all my “Profiles” are gone and I cannot figure out how to get it back. I see what you are saying to select a profile, but mine are all gone. Its been a while, but I thought you added them somehow by looking up your gamer tag, but when I do, there is no option to add it to horizon.?!?! All I want to do it add my gamer tag to the save game that I have on my USB drive. Right now this is what it looks like:

Under “Change” there are no profiles listed and I cannot figure out how to add my Profile/User tag back again. HELP… Thanks!!

Ok, this is an easy fix. :smile:
So, head over to your Xbox 360, go to your storage and move your profile to your USB.
If you don’t have your profile on your HDD recover it then try again.
Once you have done that, click on “Games”, then hit “Inject New File” then select your save:

Once done, hit “Ok”.
Then select the profile your want which you should have now since you transfered it to your USB. :smile:

Then hit “Use This Profile”.
That should work! :smile:
