Give me your opinions!

I ended up buying this laptop. The first option is a good laptop, but I’m paying more money for something I’ll never use just for the other perks. I don’t care for, nor do I need a touch screen, so why pay $200+ more on a laptop for it? 256 GB will be just enough to be able to put my music on there and as far as games go, I don’t intend on having many. Once I beat a game, I’ll probably just delete it.

[details=Original Post]So, I had posted a thread a while ago asking advice what laptop I should buy. As it turns out, I have more or less $1000 to budget on a laptop and unless I hear otherwise, I plan on getting the first one, considering the second though.

The winner. I don’t care about the touchscreen whatsoever, in fact I wish it didn’t exist.

Second place?

Third place.

I want to play some games, not like Battlefield or anything, but a good amount of games. I will be running Visual Studio, and I have a music library that’s about 100 GB so I’d need space for that. Other than that, I have no preferences.[/details]

First or second one? I don’t know!

EDIT: I’m thinking the second one because of the solid state drive…

yeah I reckon get the second but the first one has 1tb hard drive hard call man

Number One: It has 1tb of storage, whereas number 2 only has a 256gb SSD which will be quickly filled up by games.

Buttt, I can get the second one with a 1 TB HDD and 128 GB SDD, Intel i5. Both options can be customized, somewhat.

Honestly, just get a mac.

Yeah, get that, I don’t think an i7 will help you much, unless your rendering. Hyperthreading doesn’t bring a big improvement in games. Neither will the Larger L3 Cache.

Nahhh, I’m not about Apple computers. I don’t like the operating system and Macs are wayyy too expensive. I can get better performance with 5th Gen. Intel i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M than a Mac could ever give me and it’s so much less money.
