I honestly expected myself to be the last person to ever ask this, but does anyone know any good animes? I’ve only watched Berserk (cause it’s tied to Dark Souls) and Agame ga Kill cause my best friend really wanted me to, and now I don’t know what to watch. I’m not for the big tits/sex/sexual frustration stuff, just some badass action and a badass hero. That sorta shpeel.
Deadman Wonderland, Kill La Kill, Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, Death Note, Kanokon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Samurai X, B Gata H Kei (for the lulz). Just a list of my favorites but I do highly recommend DMW and Kill La Kill.
Oh yeah, and no girl main characters. I just can’t do that ****.
The only one I’ve ever watched is Aldnoah.Zero. I thought it was pretty good

I tend to lean towards anime’s that are rated R for the action. I wont watch anything else unless the show has a fair about of character development like Bleach, Log Horizon, etc. Another thing to consider is the release date. Animation nowadays are of better quality that say, 5+ years ago. If you’re willing to watch those then you might want to consider classics like Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball Z, Samurai Champloo, Tri Gun, Gunslinger.
I will note that some anime shows have been around for a while and you’ll notice that there is a significant difference in quality from there initial release. For instance, Bleach, Naruto, and Once Piece all boasts over 300 episodes spanning many years.
This pretty much covers all of the recent good ones but there is a few others I can name such as Durarara!!x2 Sho. However you want to watch that go watch the first season first. If you are into Shounen I would suggest World Trigger, or Fairy Tale.
