'Guitar Hero' gets born again with a new look and a new controller

[/img]Unlike the rebooted Rock Band, Guitar Hero Live has remodeled its guitar controllers with two rows of three tightly grouped black and white keys. You can read our hands-on impressions here.

Avatars have also been replaced for a completely different look. The game hopes to create a live atmosphere, with actors and tightly edited footage instead of cartoon music venues.

The game is pencilled in for an Autumn release and an RRP in the US of $99 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Bands already confirmed for Guitar Hero Live are: The Black Keys, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Gary Clark, Jr., Green Day, Ed Sheeran, The War on Drugs, The Killers, Skrillex, The Rolling Stones, The Lumineers, Pierce the Veil and Blitz Kids.
