Quick note to anyone using this: No Recoil will mess with the camera. By that I mean, if you fall for a second or 2 (prior to taking any damage), your camera will stay tilted until you take damage or shoot a gun. It also occasionally, while shooting, makes your cursor snap to a different position.
I’d recommend not using that specific cheat at all. Very disruptive though small.
None of the Half Life 2 mods work. When you activate them, it kicks you out of the game. The entire game closes and crashes to the desktop. Not even one of the mods works. Actually, none of them work. The problem needs to be fixed.There are 8 trainers, none of them work. The moment they are activated, the game closes and crashes. Valve has taken precautions. We cannot activate the in-game console. The console does not work, or rather, the console button has been removed from the game. That is why we need trainers so much. The problem needs to be solved urgently.

There are 2 Half-Life 2 games on Steam, which one do you have? There is a normal Half-Life 2 and there is Half-Life 2 RTX, which one of these is installed? I have Half-Life 2 RTX installed on my computer. When I activate the trainer for this game, it kicks me out of the game. If you say Normal Half-Life 2, it works fine for me, it doesn’t kick me out of the game, but I have Half-Life 2 RTX.
Most likely the Half Life 2 that works flawlessly in yours is the Half Life 2 in this picture. If it works flawlessly in mine, I have no problems with this game. I have Half Life 2 with RTX 2 installed. When I open the RTX 2 game and activate the trainer, the game crashes. You need to solve the problem for Half Life 2 RTX or you need to develop a special trainer for Half Life 2 RTX.
