I used the method in the video and it wiped all my ranks and campaign progress had to recover my account to get it all back.
Hmmm, it has worked fine for me every time I have tried it. Did you rehash/resign after you injected it back into your profile? If you did just try it again I guess, but this time keep a backup of your GPD, so if it doesn’t work you won’t have to recover.

It unlocks Online achievements aswell? all at once or when you do certain things?
The unlock all achievements for halo 3 did not work for me.

This thread is from 2011 so the download has probably been removed or they restructured the download links. Sending a private message to Experiment is your best bet to getting a working download.

In other words, you are replaying thru again. The mod completed the mission and your current game progress from before the mod is still there
