Can you mod 250k xp if your not level 1? I am level 34.
No, since you already connected to live.
i still dont see the point in the xp cap or those who dont mod
I just modded an offline account and maxed xp in all the specializations and went online and only kept it for 2 games haha. the emblems didnt reset yet either.
Thats very interesting, Say. How high are the stakes for console banning/Profile ban? I may end up doing this later on this year (when i get a new console and rebuy diamond) For teh Lulz.
If you had read the thread you would have seen this:
I’m currently using a memory unit profile with gold trial on it to avoid any bans on my main account. So I can monitor how long it takes before I get banned or reset for XP editing.
So as a few people have asked the chance of being banned I figured I’ll post dates here.
We don’t know the ban chance yet because it’s only been out for a few days. This thread is so we can gather information and find out the chances of being banned. As well as include as much information on the editor as possible.
yeah thanks to share it … let`s get a ton of XP.
Current SR33. With only 1 match. Still no ban, no credit ban, and no reset.
So here’s a question for you: Is it like Reach?
Reach was if you didn’t play the game for, let’s say, 3 months, you could add 10k PER DAY offline the game. This means:
90 days x 10k a day = 900,000 credits can be added. Does this still apply to Halo 4, or has no one tried it?
Yes this is how it works. You can add 10K per day you are offline. Just follow the steps that I take.
- Mod XP.
- Sign in with Xbox Live disabled.
- Confirm XP has been added.
- Enable Live.
I confirm this does work as I have gone up multiple SR Ranks for doing this (after 250K) by adding 40K XP and going online. I imagine this is how the 250K worked as it is possible they started logging XP 25 days before release for testing, and reviewers.
Update: Proof added, just check spoiler.
Everything is still good for me
Something I’d like to discuss and possibly add:
I started online by adding my 250,000XP.
Since that time, I have been using DoubleXP codes from Mountain Dew/Doritos.
I have not, I repeat NOT run into any XP cap since I began playing. No matter how many matches I played or how much XP I gained in a 24 hour period, I never was notified of a cap nor was I kept from advancing in level.
I am not sure why, perhaps due to the doubleXP. I suspect when my matches run out, I will experience the cap if I hit the marker. I do not know that if you start doubleXP after playing regular matches, if the same will occur. If anyone is in the same situation, feel free to share.
I am sharing this so that you may add it in as a sidenote for those that want to avoid the cap.
Note: I am now SR46 with around 50 matches won.
well I added 11k xp today then played about 8 or so games
yes it allowed me to add 11k, just thought I’d point this out
well I took from Sunday 10k daily adding a 2nd account so far nothing has happened, just play a few games to not notice both in any case any ban or suspension of this account will notice. -
Hm so it’s possible 10K isn’t the daily limit. That could have been a behind-the-scenes update. Such as they can edit the daily XP cap, 343 may be able to edit this also.
In my honest opinion I’d say 20K a day at the most to stay on the safe side. Although for this thread I will be going up in 10K increments as the profile editor states.
Halo636 you want your test with X amount of credits and I with another … well see how it goes? if you agree to let me know and we stand in agreement that amount daily use;)
Well right now I’m going based on what the Horizon devs have said so that we can figure out how long it takes to get banned, that’s if I even do get banned.
If somebody else is happy to try adding 20K online multiple consecutive days to confirm this for us then I am happy to add it to the main post.
Just take this as a note.
Halo has been out for, what? Over a week?
Now, you have done 50 matches. Assuming you get 4000xp per game with the double XP, that means in 50 matches you’ve only accumulated 200,000xp. This means you would of hit the cap only once. Now, I’m going to guess you have NOT done 50 matches in one single day, making the XP cap impossible for you to have hit.
Granted you’ve earned over 200k XP, but you’ve accumulated that in over a week - not a day. I’m pretty sure you understand what I mean when saying it’s impossible for you to have hit the cap yet, unless you’re earning more then 10k EXP per game.
Which, I find unlikely because I go 20+ and low deaths almost every game and I get 2000-3000XP at the most(No double xp) O_o
Yeah, I myself have never hit the XP cap on any of my accounts. Simply because I just cannot accumulate that many matches per day. Perhaps I will stay up all night and see how much XP I can gain. Probably not enough to be capped as it resets in about 5 hours. Unless anybody has a magic way to gain 150K XP legit in 5 hours then PM me now!
Simply put it, you’re probably not going to hit the XP cap unless you no-life the game or boost.
OK and I’ll add 20k from tomorrow to my account and daily reporting ire
