it crashes every time I launch while starting it up with mods and even when i have it open it crashed when i turn them on

Can confirm this as well. Whether it’s launched from Wemod app or game launched first then loading Wemod after it crashes the game.
Mod works fine when you disable overlay as DaHALOSHOCK and Patrick pointed out.

This game feels difficult to avoid online. Where is safe using the Mod? Campaign only? Can I do custom against bots?
Forgive the dumb question as I’m new to using mods, but if I use this on Halo Wars 2 xbox app on PC; will I get banned? Obviously, if I use it in online matches with other people, I’m sure I would but what about private skirmishes?
Nope, gotta be reported OR set off a tracker from playing online coop or anything like that. Just being signed in and playing skirmish/firefight won’t get you flagged at all. (sorry for being so late to answer. xD )
How do we unlock the mods on the most recent version? It says disabled for update but its probably never getting updated and sometimes mods still work even on newer version. Is there a workaround?
I’d also like to know if these are actually being updated or not.

They barely care about new Xbox pc games.. Why would they care about the old ones?? I have seen multiple xbox games being ignored for months even being at the top voted ones..

It’s no use! I watched it go from #2 to #18 on the list. This boost system is complete laziness to be honest. I just want my unlimited population for legendary 1v1’s

honestly I feel like if this game is not going to get an update then its status needs to change to unsupported. The voting system is rigged. Only the top games get the attention. The problem is this game is only available through the Microsoft store. which means you cant just simply download a steam version. This is why they should take this seriously. This game may not be as popular as the top games but we have no other options like those top games do. They need to make an exception for this game.
