Help! Horizon fails to load!

I have downloaded the Horizon app, but whenever I load it up, Windows ends up killing it because it has some kind of problem! Please help.

So you were able to successfully install Horizon after downloading the setup.exe?

Or does the setup stop or just not want to start at all?

If when trying to open Horizon all you see is the Horizon logo splash screen for a split second then it’s probably a .NET Framework issue. You need 3.5 for Horizon to run. Go to your Control Panel and find Programs & Features, look to see if you have .NET Framework 3.5 installed. If you don’t see it then go ahead and download and install it. Get it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25150

Or if it’s a problem trying to get Horizon installed, try this. Right click on the setup.exe and go to Properties, look for the Unblock button near the bottom and click it, now click OK. Now the setup should start if that’s your issue.

If neither of those help resolve your issue please give us as much info as possible. What error messages you’re getting, what OS you have and anything else you think might help us help you better and faster.
