Horizon Diagnostic Tool - Fix your problems!

V1.2 - Added System Info feature, better detection of .NET version through registry, better warnings.

Regarding the system information tool, in the future those pieces of data will be reported automatically, but now if you create a thread try to include all that information.

After turning off a few security options I was able to use this diagnostics tool but it didn’t help me at all. It went through all the steps and I still can’t use Horizon.

My Operating System: Vista Home Premium (64-Bit) Service Pack 2

My Anti-Virus: Norton and Malware Bytes

My Firewall: Norton

My Installed .NET Versions: 3.5

I’ve tried removing and re-downloading Horizon and the .netframework numerous times and it hasn’t helped.

If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated seeing that I’m paying for something that i can’t use at all.

You’re not paying? You’d have the Diamond badge else.

Also, what is the error?

Turn off Norton and Malware Bytes.
Doing that will allow an exception for Horizon to run.

Also, turn off your Firewall.
After Horizon is running, you can enable your Anti-Virus again.

If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated seeing that I’m paying for something that i can’t use at all

What do you mean? You would have Diamond if you did.

Post back here if you have anymore problems.

I had bought the option for a recurring payment to keep my Diamond, idk what happened.

and i keep getting the error that says Horizon has stopped working. i tried running in service pack 2 for xp and service pack 1 for windows server 2003 nothing helps

You don’t seem to have Diamond.

What is the error?

Horizon not loading?

Hmm, it seems to me the download links are down.

2nd one is but the first one you just have to wait a while.

So if you payed the 4.99$ you would have Diamond. If you did, show proof in the Ask The Staff section located here,

https://www.wemod.com/forum/51-ask-staff

If you paid for Diamond, you would have recieved the badge with Diamond.

For the error, run Horizon as Administrator.
Please post here if you encounter anymore problems.

Note; You can also contact an Administrator or Developer.

So you have Diamond now, congratulations!

Try disabling Norton entirely.

Congrats on Diamond!
Ok, now to the error.

Try running Horizon as Administrator and disabling Norton and Malware Bytes fully. Doing that will allow an exception for Horizon to run.
Once done, try running Horizon again. If Horizon runs correctly, enable your Anti-Virus again.
That should do the trick.

Post back here if you encounter anymore problems.

i did and i still cant get it to work, is ther any way i can use team viewer and have you or anyone help me out? cuz i have been all over this web site trying everything i could and so far iv made no progress.

I would happily help you on TeamViewer but I’m ill.

Try running Horizon in compatibility mode; Windows NT.

the only Windows NT is 4.0 but i only have 3.5 cuz thats what iv seen everyone talking about, but i guess i cud give it a try

I will TeamView with you as soon as soon as I get home.
I am currently on my iPhone, but when I get home, I will.

Please Private Message me your details.

Like Imitate (Sam) said, Try running Horizon in compatibility mode; Windows NT.
If that doesn’t work, Private Message me your TeamView details.

I’ll be home in 30 minutes or so.

Okay, Thank you very much.

i sent it already, so when ur ready just take over lol

Still run it, the version doesn’t matter, as long as it’s NT.

That should get Horizon to run.

still nothing

Well done, I considered this but got lazy. ;L
Great work!

Very nice, got a nice, simple look, easy to use as well!

I would suggest adding some for the Support Forums, where it posts for you, like the Restriction option. Also when you choose “Horizon won’t load” it automatically downloads .NET Clean up. Me personally would ask if the users want to download… Just an opinion
