Is there any chance the âfreeze timerâ cheat from the Zero Dawn will be added to Forbidden West?
Along with the Overlay support
game frezes up the disappears from screen when i shoot or attack ..shoot ,hits target frezzes then game disappaers. it was working fine yesterday i tried fixing game in steam , restarted my pc, tried three more times..no good. i ran the game from steam no mods and it works fine, run with mods and poof

Hello lucky, Could you provide a bit more detail about the crashing youâre experiencing? Does it happen in the same areas each time, or does it seem random? Also, which trainer options are you using when the crashes occur? That information will help us narrow things down.
not sure if you are the same maintainer in the Wand app. But it seems like HFW will crash to a black screen.
Launch the game normally. and start Wand. Comes back to HFW itâs a black screen. BUT you can hear the game is still playing.
When launching the game directly from Wand, it crashes saying the video drivers. But I am running the latest Nvidia drivers as of 12/20/25

For gaming on Nvidia, I recommend downloading and installing their Game Ready Driver, here: NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Drivers. If you havenât already.
The drivers that usually come pre-installed on machines arenât always good enough. The Game Ready driver from Nvidia, which you need to manually download and install, is designed with heavy gaming in mind and also automatically shuts down unnecessary processes that would otherwise drain resources and affect your gaming.
I have their Game Ready Driver and have never crashed in this game with Wand (ex-WeMod). Give it a go if you donât have it already.
591.59 is the latest drivers from Nvidia. The only âoverlayâ software is Wand (WeMod)

hey, I have the same problem, but the game keeps freezing everytime I use the mod, it always happend when I start the mod then comes back to the games and it keeps freezing, and Iâm using the trainer while on the game, and before the game too

I noticed if you start the game using the trainer. Wait until you are in game (and save loaded) and use the mods via the shortcuts (not the overlay or manual toggle) it will work. Be forewarned, switching out of the game will cause it to crash.
