Hello, im new to the world of modding and i know horizon is reliable however for some odd reason every time i try to open it it says “horizon has stopped working” and “windows is trying to find a solution” but the damn window keeps closing every time. I have uninstalled and downloaded the application multiple times and still nothing. Could something be blocking it from working, and if so do you have any idea what it is because it has become rather frustrating and really im just looking to have fun asap. if you have any idea what the problem may possibly be do please do not hesitate to tell me so. Also if this is not the right place to post about this problem then please tell me where to go as i am new to the website. Thank you 
Check to see if you have .Net Framework installed in your installed programs in control panel. If you don’t or do not have .Net 3.5 I suggest installing it to see if that fixes your problem. Get it Here.
You should also try a fresh install of Horizon after downloading it from the link below. Be sure to uninstall your current version first.

For some odd reason google chrome is completely blocking me from i=the download, i click visit the site and once it finishes downloading chrome blocks it anyways and as always internet explorer is no help. Im running windows 8 but the strangest part is that ive gotten horizon to work before but i opened today and now this problem is occurring. i never even used this pc for anything other modding using horizon so I really cant see what the problem could be.
Btw i appreciate your help most website forums would just tell me tough tits, well the ones ive had the displeasure of working with in the past would
alright i got the download to work but still the same problem
thanks for your help but ive tried everything, ive looked on other forums i googled it i ****ed around with the windows settings and still nothing. Thanks for your time but ill just look into other ways of modding
So is the problem now that it won’t install? If it is, right click on the installer, click on properties, look for the Unblock button near the bottom and click it, now click apply and then Ok. Now it should install for you.
You should also try disabling your AV during the download and install.
