Every time i try to launch it nothing happens for about 10 seconds then it gives me a windows pop-up saying “Horizon has stopped working” then the popup closes.
I have the latest framework
I have reinstalled horizon and rebooted pc
Have turned off firewall and antivirus
PC- Windows ten
AV-AVG 2015
AVG Could be your issue. Try adding an exception for Horizon in AVG and try again.
Post back and let us know if it works or not.
Is Windows up to date? Check for updates on your computer if you have any, update it, and then restart your computer and try launching it again. I seen this issue in the past a lot.
Just added it to the exception list and it still didn’t work, and my pc is fully up to date and i have restarted it multiple times.
Do you have .NET Framework 3.5? If not, try downloading and installing it.

Yes, Horizon requires 3.5. Install it and post back.
I have just tried to install 3.5 and it’s not really working, i click on it and it asks for permission to run, then nothing happens.
I’m sorry to hear that. I haven’t upgraded to Win 10 yet so I’m still a bit out of the loop with it. Thanks for the help, ill try that and i’m also gonna try uninstalling .NET Framework 4.5 and installing 3.5 instead. Thanks for the help!
You can have both installed, I do. Get 3.5 installed and it should fix it. There’s no need to uninstall 4.5, other programs may rely on it so don’t do that.
Sadly I already have done that before and it still has not worked yet. I even tried to install the framework after deleting the newer one which didn’t work either.
