Horizon | How to Mod Forza Horizon!

So basically we have to wait a couple of days for them to fix it then its back to modding?

hello, I have horizon diamond but I can not do this tells me that I have a corrupted file but it is impossible, because I just started playing with it.you would have a save file for me?

A new Cheat Engine has been implemented into the game so you’ll receive that error.

In the past hour or two I’v been doing some research seeing as many of you guys have been having issues with the Forza Horizon editor in Horizon, if this was the error you have been occuring, please read on.

In the past hour I’v tried to re-create this error, and I have done so, with a new profile.

So if I’m remembering correctly, this also happened with Forza Motorsport 4 with a update that was placed, if I’m correct that update was a type of ‘cheat engine’ to spot out modders who modified a bag-load of credits.

After doing a bit of research going back to that update I found this.

The problem was, when loading Forza 4 it gave him an error saying…
“It appears that this profile has been tampered with.”

Now, this would usally appear after changing your profile/device/console ID based within your Forza Motorsport 4 profile, but now it is appearing on Forza Horizon.

The reason it is showing on Forza Horizon is due to the latest update putting in a ‘cheat system’, and since it is buggy and new, it is giving you this error, now, I’m typing this on my phone, so grammar and such may not be up to scratch, but hopefully you understand this.

I will cut it down for you and say it simply, basically Turn 10 have imported a type of cheat engine into Forza Horizon, which finds you modifying credits and such else, and due to it being buggy, its finding that your profile has been tampered with, even though it hasn’t, although, in a few days, this issue should be resolved and fixed, this is what I have found a brief description of what is happening and why you are occuring this error.

Please do note, modifying way too many credits will get you banned, I’m talking 2million+, so please modify your credits in the thousands and not millions or billions or trillions! or that will most definitely get you banned.

Please do have fun modding your profile and enjoy playing Forza Horizon when this issue is resolved.

Have you modified your Forza Profile with anything other then Horizon? If so I recommend making a new Forza Profile.

You’re getting that error because of the recent update to Forza Horizon.They added a Cheat Engine that blocks files from being modified to my knowledge.

Im guessing you can not MOD the game save at all?

currently, no. It will pop with an error saying the gamesave has been tampered with and it will not work. The other portions of the tool, the livery unlockers and such, will pen but will not load - they simply fade out white - and are not usable.

I’m very much hoping for a resolution to this soon, preferably before my current diamond runs out, lol, otherwise I will wait on renewing it until it is fixed.

When I try to open the ForzaProfile from the USB in the mod tab, I get this message:
Forza: Forza userdata has been tampered with. Im not sure what this means. Could you be a little more specific with what to move onto the usb? Im very confused. thanks for your time!

Do you mean because it isn’t working right now, lol?

And most likely not as that is against the Horizon Tool Terms of Use. If you get Christmas money, or for whatever other reason, just buy a month. If you’re worried using your info, buy a prepaid card for $5.00 at a local grocery store and use that to pay.

Even if you could mod this to enable VIP mode you’ll be banned. I am VIP legit and you can’t edit it full stop.

First of all, you cannot mod VIP status as that is stored with T10/PG and tampering with it is instant ban. Also, I’m pretty sure that is against the ToU to mod for other people since you do not have diamond.

@CHIMP:There is an issue with a current title update, there will be a fix out soon. does no one read anything anymore?

What would be a good amount of credits to add to my profile? Also, can I add all of the cars to my garage through the mod tool?

I ordered Forza Horizon today, and I’m going to get diamond when I receive it in the mail
