So you know me i have been with HMB for awhile now.
I decided to come back today and see whats been going on and when i loaded up the site it warned me about Malware and attackers etc.
Is this true? Or is it just the precaution that your program may contain malware?
I mean not that i care or anything, just got worried the site was attacked and taken down.
But as i can see it’s still here.
So what happened? Never got that message as long as i been here.
Why now?
We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. The site is safe and there is nothing to worry about. It is related to the current Horizon installer which we are working to get changed as quickly as possible. Unfortunately this came at a time where very few people are working so it may take us a little while. If anyone has questions please feel free to PM me directly.
Awesome glad you guys are on top of your game man love this site i have to visit through my phone my laptop kicks me out of the webpage
We put the new installer up without getting the OK from the company. It works fine though. I think we have to wait until Google re-indexes the site.
The site is 100% safe, it is just not “OK’ed” by Google because of a new installer I think.
Whats the new installer?
It is a different kind of installer that they use if I am not mistaken, instead of the CNET installer that they normally use.
Is there a new download for horizon because every time I tried to open it it says “Stop Working” for some reason it wont open im using windows 8.1
I saw your other thread dontay, and the only thing I can tell you is that the developers of the horizon software are working hard to try and fix the problem. You just need to be patient and it will be fixed.
Does this happen when opening the downloaded “Horizon-Setup”, or opening the Horizon program installed on your computer?
It happens when you try to open up the installed program on your desktop.
Okay, that can be a number of things. Check the Horizon support section on the forum and try all of the possible solutions. I will extend your Diamond subscription once you get it working
ok thx
There’s no solutions I can find.
mine says windows cannot find horizon-setup.exe when opening the downloaded “horizon-setup” then my webroot flags it and deletes it
You need to disable webroot then while you download and install it. If you don’t want to do that you can also download it from here: https://www.horizonmb.com/client/v2/latest.php
Malware warning is removed.
Also was the site down for like the last 3-4 days? Before the malware warning started showing up I couldn’t get on the site.
The malware warning was removed for me and the rest of staff as far as I know. Clear your cache if it still shows up. The site has not gone offline anytime in the past week. We get the occasional DDOS but those rarely take the site down for more than a few minutes.
Oops, was not meant to have the not there. It is removed lol
The site was down for a few hours the other night. That’s about it though. 12Gb/s DDoS
Glad this got resolved! Was curious as to what was going on before.
