Every time I try to start horizon it shows the horizon logo then nothing else, can someone please help me.

Ive seen some have problems that involve the program need an update but the box that ask you to update is behind everthing you have open at the moment.

Nope, ive had this problem for months.
my problem is when it shows horizon and nothing else, it doesn’t even show the update part.
