Horizon does not start up on my computer, please help
What error message are you getting?
You may want to try uninstalling Horizon, and then reinstall after downloading it again from this link:https://www.horizonmb.com/client/v2/latest.php
It could also be a .Net Framework issue. You can download it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25150
Or if you’re having a problem getting it to install try this, right click on the installer, click on properties, look for the Unblock button near the bottom and click it, now click Apply and then Ok. Now it should install for you.

Hey Steve,
Just a thought (I was looking for answers to HDtools to behave improperly during the inject/save processes for another member)
But anyway, it is all to often dismissed that some PC’s just cant handle the load demand of Horizon. I have done IT meets over teamviewer with people to see what was going on. I popped open the Task Manager>Performance tab; then launched the install attempt open only to see the CPU go from 8% to 100%, hang, and terminate the install.
My PC isn’t the crappiest, or the greatest and I have watched mine spike 98% before coming back down and operating around 18%CPU usage.
Other than the latest Java and .NET Framework, it seems like the system requirement minimums are Duocore or similar and at least pushing off no less than 2.0Ghz per core, and preferably a minimum 4GB ram.
Yes but my laptop is average and doesn’t go above 10% when opening horizon (Dual Core i5 @ 2.6 Ghz).
